Hey guys! A new Wednesday, a new recipe.
Today we are making a super quick Alfredo pasta. This should take no more than 15 minutes, so I hope everyone’s going to have them time to make it. Let’s start!
You will need:
200 grams of pasta – I used fussili again…
300 ml of double cream
4 tablespoons of butter – unsalted
100 grams of grated parmesan
2 cloves of minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
serves – 2
Cook the pasta according to the instructions and set aside. Melt the butter in a pan and add the garlic. Make sure you don’t burn the butter nor the garlic because there is no way back from that. Fry the garlic in the butter for 30-60 seconds.
Add the ground black pepper and the double cream. Stir well and let it simmer for a bit. This should be no more than 2 minutes.
When the cream starts to bubble, remove it from the heat and add the grated parmesan. Mix well so that it melts and you are done. If you want to use more types of cheese, go for it. How I use it:
Mozzarella and parmesan
Cheddar and parmesan
