All about the stripes

Hey Everyone! How are you doing?

It’s a new week and it’s time for another outfit post. This time I decided to wear stripes. I love how sailor vibes always make it to the catwalks, and this SS17 was not different. Burberry, YSL, Gucci and I could list many more brands that had stripes in their collections. So me and Fran decided to hit the docklands in London to get the most out of the shoot.

Now I know you all noticed that I have a bigger build and I always found the dressing guides for bigger builds boring. If you have some extra on you, stick to darker colours, forget the horizontalΒ stripes. Even if you want to wear stripes, wear vertical ones. Don’t wear this and don’t wear that. Of course, there is a reason that these exist, but I always liked to experiment with clothes. At the end of the day it is you that you are dressing for, and if you feel comfortable, the ones who have objections are welcome to leave the room.

I know it has been quite a while since the H&M x Kenzo collection came out, but since I got this pouch, I’ve been wearing and loving it ever since.

There you go guys, I hope you like it and don’t forget that stepping out of your comfort zone is where the magic happens. I know this is a mundane quote that you probably hear every single day, but I think it’s true.

See you on Wednesday,

The Fashion Eclectic.
